Natural Eye Makeup Remover

I have been using Extra Virgin Olive Oil to remove my eye makeup for a year. I remember someone told me how one of their friends work at Estee Lauder’s makeup factory. The person mentioned how the giant bins they use to mix the eye makeup remover formula had to be replaced often because they corroded and disentegrated the bins. Horrified, I threw away my eye makeup removers and seek for a new option. I found that Extra Virgin Olive Oil not only removed all my makeup, but left my eyes feeling soft, my lashes conditioned and my skin supple. This natural eye makeup remover does not clog the pores or cause milia. Enjoy your inexpensive makeup remover! Here is a blog entry www.xanga.com The song is Ponchielli “Dance of the Hours” I love love love classical music! Enjoy!

You actually happen to be relatively pretty, thank you for your tutorial. it is actually unfortunate i’m located in Hokes Bluff considering that i can’t receive good quality make-up, on the other hand i find freely available cosmetics samples from ‘Gratis Makeup Samples’. i absolutely adore Maybelline make-up!

@astr323 Good point. Especially in summer. I use olive oil on my skin all the time in the winter because my skin is dry enough to absorb the moisture, but in the summer humidity olive oil just sits on top and makes my skin feel greasy. Which is totally odd ’cause my skin never is. So, yeah, wash your face after you use it AND make sure to use soap because water doesn’t get rid of oil.

thanks Michelle & olive oil works just as good as Lancome’s makeup remover & the best part of it is that it doesnt burn your eyes! :D

@dommmiii1 Yeah, I use it when I’m not to lazy to go downstairs and get it. If you don’t want to use olive oil, you could always use baby oil and I’m pretty sure it works on waterproof mascaras ^^

  19. iceskater1 says:

@dommmiii1 it works on waterproof mascara too, it just takes a little longer to remove. I just use more olive oil and press it onto the mascara for a couple seconds before wiping it off

@madamen13 k thanks!! so im guessing u’ve used it before?? do u know if it works on waterproof mascara?? thanks again :]

  21. madamen13 says:

@dommmiii1 Won’t hurt if you get it in your eyes, but it will cloud your vision a little and feel weird.

Wow that seems like a really good eye make up remover!! Would it also work on waterproof mascara?? Also, would it really hurt if it accidentally got in the eye?? thank you so much for showing this method :)
